Fluid Sampling procedure & delivery

  1. Remove syringe from ziplock bag. Remove cap and keep.
  2. Enter sample information on ziplock labels. 
  3. Obtain sample with vis cup.
  4. Extract sample with syringe, from middle of vis cup, ASAP. Draw enough fluid to fill syringe more than half way. Do not remove plunger.
  5. Wipe syringe with paper towel.
  6. Seal syringe firmly with cap.
  7. Place syringe in ziplock bag and zip closed.
  8. Place closed ziplocks and the following information in prepaid USPS or UPS mailer, then seal using adhesive strip.
  9. Maximum 5 syringes per mailer.
  10. Place in any USPS or UPS (as indicated on mailer) location or drop box.

With few exceptions, clients can expect to have their personalised PSA results returned to them electronically, in a wide array of data presentation formats, including .pdf or MS Excel, within 12 – 48 hours of PSA Laboratories LLC’s receipt of your samples.
